PrestaShop AI SEO tool: what the module and the app actually do

Updated on 17 Sept 2026

"PrestaShop AI SEO tool", "SEO software with artificial intelligence", "AI automation platform for PrestaShop": those three phrases usually describe the same product, and occasionally three very different ones. What separates them is not the quality of the generated text, it is where the work stops.

This page says where ours stops, and what that leaves on your side.

A free module, an app on subscription

The module installs inside the store and sets up a complete blog there: categories, tags, RSS feed, sitemap, structured data, title tag and meta description per article. It is never billed: it comes with the plan, and it keeps working on its own if the subscription ends: the module page covers it. The app is on subscription, from €19 to €249 a month with no minimum term: it is what reads the catalog, suggests queries, writes the articles and product descriptions, then publishes into the store. Everything that follows on this page describes the app.

Generating text is the easy part

Most AI solutions for PrestaShop can produce a description when you hand them a product name. That is real and it is useful, but it is not where your time goes. We sorted AI modules for PrestaShop into four families; that one is the third.

On a store, time goes into three places. Knowing what to write about, when you have eight hundred references and no idea which ones are getting impressions. Writing with the product data in front of you, because a model that doesn't know your catalog writes generic plausible prose. And putting the result back into PrestaShop, field by field, language by language.

A tool that covers only the second one leaves you the other two. That is often the case, and you notice it the moment you paste its output into the back office.

What Publium covers

The module installs on your PrestaShop in under five minutes, and it sends the catalog up: products, categories, CMS pages, images, theme stylesheets. That is everything writing needs, and nothing else.

From there, four things happen outside your back office.

The analysis reads the catalog and proposes queries. The corpus goes to the model in a single call, which has a pleasant consequence: a store with forty thousand references costs the same as a store with two hundred. The queries that come back are drawn from the vocabulary of your own product pages, not from a generic e-commerce keyword list.

Generation writes with that vocabulary. Blog articles, product descriptions, CMS pages. The title tag fits its seventy useful characters, the meta description its hundred and sixty, the Google result preview shows before publishing, and links to the product pages concerned go in along the way rather than by hand.

Publishing goes back into the store through the same signed API, as a draft or on the date you pick. Every version is kept. Nothing goes out that you have not read.

Search Console plugs in, and an opportunity engine rereads your positions every Monday.

The opportunity engine uses no AI at all

This deserves a paragraph, because it runs against the label.

Deciding what to work on is a job for rules, and the rules are written down. A query sitting between fourth and fifteenth place with at least fifty impressions is within reach of the top three. A product page under four hundred characters that still gets thirty impressions is thin content. A page losing thirty percent of its clicks over twenty-eight days is worth a look. Content with no title tag or meta description is an oversight, not a decision.

No language model is involved there. The sorting happens before any writing, on thresholds you can read and argue with, and it costs considerably less to run.

From 1.6.1 to 9, the same tool

The older PrestaShop estate is enormous and often profitable. So the module is tested across four generations, from 1.6.1 to 9, with the same functions everywhere, and every change is validated on all four environments before it ships.

If you are on 9.2, the native AI assistant is already there and costs you nothing extra. The question then is not "which of the two" but "what am I still missing once I have it". Our answer comes to three things: a place where content is made, SEO framing that travels with the text, and a record of what has been published. If you are not missing those three, the native assistant is enough.

What never travels

The application receives none of your back-office credentials. It talks to the module through an API signed with HMAC, timestamped and protected against replay, and the module exposes only the data listed above.

That is the foundation of the product, not a security option bolted on afterwards.

What the tool does not do

It publishes nothing you have not read. A generation produces a draft; putting it live stays an action someone triggers.

It warrants neither the accuracy nor the originality of what it writes. A language model produces plausible text, not verified text, and the disclosures your sector requires remain your responsibility.

It guarantees no ranking. Nobody guarantees a position, and anyone who does is lying. You get volume and structure; the rest is built with consistency, and that is counted in months, not weeks.

It does not replace what you know about your products. It writes the first version, the one that takes the longest.

What it costs

Three monthly plans, no minimum term: Studio at €19, Pro at €39 for one connected store and a hundred and fifty pieces a month, Agency at €249 for ten stores and five hundred pieces. The quota is shared across all your stores and does not carry over from one month to the next; reworking a piece you already generated does not count against it.

The module stays free whatever happens, and if you cancel, everything already published stays in your store.

The full grid is on the pricing page, with market rates alongside it.

Where to start

If you want to judge before installing anything, the full walk-through is on "How it works", screenshot by screenshot. If you are weighing the specialized tool against a freelance copywriter and raw ChatGPT, the three-way comparison is written here, and we are honest there about the other two.

And if you run content for several clients, industrializing content production describes the whole chain, workload figures included.

And if your PrestaShop version worries you, the compatibility page probably covers it.

Start with the product page that needs it most.

Pro at €39 a month, no commitment.
