About — why Publium exists
Updated on 25 Jul 2026
Publium came out of an observation made in the field, store after store: everyone knows content is the most profitable SEO lever in e-commerce, and almost nobody sustains it. Not out of ignorance — out of cost. Writing takes hours merchants don't have and budgets that classic engagements burn through fast.
We built the answer we would have wanted to find: a complete blog inside PrestaShop, and an app that has the AI write from the store's catalog — not from thin air.
Our stances
They shape the product, so they're worth writing down.
The blog belongs to the merchant. The module is self-contained: articles, categories, RSS, sitemap, tags. If you never use the app, if you cancel, everything stays in your store. Content is an asset — yours.
AI without data produces nothing of value. A language model on its own writes plausible generic prose. Wired into a catalog — products, features, prices, photos, theme — it writes something differentiated. That's the whole difference between filling a page and building an SEO asset.
The human keeps the last word. Every article and every product description goes through your review before publishing. The AI holds the pen; you sign.
Every PrestaShop version deserves the same tool. From 1.6.1 to 9, same module, same functions. The base of "old" stores is enormous and often profitable; dropping it for a vendor's convenience isn't our style.
Never your credentials. The app talks to the module over a signed API (HMAC, timestamp, replay protection). No back-office access, no passwords exchanged — a baseline requirement, not a feature.
What we don't promise
Commercial honesty is part of the product. So:
- No "guaranteed first position". Nobody guarantees a ranking, and those who claim to are lying. We provide the volume, the structure and the SEO discipline; ranking is built through regularity — count in months, not weeks.
- No "undetectable" content. We don't play cat and mouse with Google: we produce useful content, anchored in your data, reviewed by you. It's the only strategy that survives algorithm updates.
- No spam factory. A hundred articles a day with no review is technically possible and strategically stupid. Our plan quotas reflect healthy publishing rhythms.
How we work
The product improves through practice: connected stores and real catalogs — with their empty product pages, their customised themes and their old PrestaShop versions — feed every iteration. The blog we publish applies our own recipes: keywords drawn from the subject, systematic internal linking, regular publishing. We eat our own cooking, as the polite phrase goes.
A question, a doubt, an edge case? The FAQ covers the essentials, How it works shows the product in detail, and a demo remains the best argument: we generate content on your store, in front of you. If you'd rather just ask something, write to us.
